B2B Marketing Manager

An exciting newly created opportunity has arisen for a B2B Marketing Manager to join us at Gumtree! You’ll play a key role in driving B2B growth across verticals. This includes owning and executing initiatives that deliver measurable results across the marketing funnel from awareness to conversion. You’ll develop and activate multi-channel campaigns in close collaboration with central marketing teams (Performance Marketing, Brand, CRM), in support of the overall commercial plan and sales targets. You’ll ensure relevant marketing content and assets are developed to support all B2B verticals, including Home Services, Property, Pets (Breeders), Motors (B2B), and Jobs. You’ll also evaluate campaign efficiency and ROI using data and insights to inform future marketing plans. Location: London, hybrid working applies with circa 2 to 3 days in the office.
About the role:
You’ll report directly to the COO and will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies tailored to the unique needs of each B2B vertical. You’ll own campaign execution across paid, owned, and earned channels, working closely with central teams to optimise reach and performance. This includes leading prospecting efforts to grow supply on the marketplace. You’ll also collaborate with Sales teams to deliver tools, materials, and insights that drive prospecting, lead generation, and conversions. Additionally, you’ll build deep knowledge of each B2B vertical, tailoring messaging and campaigns to resonate with target audiences. Being data and insights driven is important to us, consequently you’ll ensure performance measurement monitoring campaign performance, analysing data, and delivering actionable insights to inform future strategies and maximise ROI on marketing spend. You’ll be highly collaborative working cross functionally with central marketing and brand teams to ensure all marketing activities align with our brand guidelines and enhance its reputation in the B2B space.

What are we looking for?
A proven background B2B marketing role, within marketplaces or other digital businesses, with a focus on delivering measurable results. You’ll be results-driven, with a passion for delivering growth through innovative and impactful marketing strategies.
You’ll have a strong track record of developing and executing cross-channel marketing campaigns, from strategy to activation. This includes being skilled in adapting strategies to meet different audiences – from small sole trader businesses to large enterprise accounts.
You’ll be highly collaborative with experience working across sales, commercial, and central marketing functions.
We love data, so do you. You’ll be analytical with the ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into actionable strategies. You’ll also have experience with experimentation frameworks and interpreting A/B test results.
You’ll be fluent in story telling and skilled in creating compelling messaging for diverse audiences.
Experience with systems like Salesforce, Tableau, PowerBI is desirable. Additionally previous experience in graphic design, physical print advertising and delivery is a plus.
