We have an exciting opportunity for a gifted Sales Consultant (ad sales) with a true ‘hunter’ mentality to join our growing team. You’ll play an important role in driving growth, engaging potential and existing SME customers to promote and sell Gumtree listings as their go to destination for advertising. You'll be purely phone based, making a high volume of outbound sales calls to develop business across services verticals nationally. You’ll join a small, yet passionate SME sales team focussed in growth and brilliant customer service, whilst building the future of Gumtree. We are going through a period of hyper growth. Location: London Waterloo, 2-3 days in the office.
About the role:
You’ll join a high impact team focussed on proactive business development, upselling and cross-selling. Our approach is authentic and non-scripted, so bring your flair and build a pipeline! You’ll work from self-sourced leads, and can work across multiple service verticals. We currently have 10 categories to choose from, so whether your sweet spot is homeservices, removals or pet grooming, the opportunities are there for you to take. You’ll work to daily call targets and monthly KPIs, reaching for that top spot on the sales leader board. Once you are in, you won’t want to leave. Many of our team members are long timers. We want to add on to our culture and are looking for high energy, outcome driven sales people with high integrity and professionalism. Are you in?

What are we looking for?
Previous outbound sales experience with a track record of hitting, not quitting targets! We’ll want examples.
Experience in full end to end sales process. No appointment setting here, you’ll source your own leads and make it happen, building ongoing relationships with your SME customers.
Excellent communication skills and raw sales ability.
You excel at selling solutions to customer needs.
Self-motivation and drive - you wake up hungry and ready to go!
You’ll be a positive and an all around brilliant team mate, no Debbie Downers or Moody Margarets. We are on a mission and need all hands on deck to get there!
