About the role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join as a Sales Consultant based in our Services team. As a key member of our New Business team you’ll be the go to expert on related Gumtree services, prospecting us as the go to solution for their business. This is a great opportunity to join a successful and dynamic team that is committed to developing you!
This is a Hybrid role (UK) position
Reports to: Sales Manager
Contract Type: Permanent
What do we love about this role?
- Responsible from initial contact right the way through to close, you’ll be prospecting to the Services sector with specific focus on SME's
- Sourcing relevant leads on competitor websites, google and other lead generation software tools to track down great leads and keep your pipeline flowing
- Proactively engage in cold calling, email outreach, and lead qualification to identify and cultivate promising opportunities
- Working toward individual revenue and KPI targets
- Pitching the Gumtree proposition and discussing strategy and pricing.
- Building and maintaining clear up to date contact lists with relevant information about each lead
- We’re a consultative sales team, we want to be able to foster meaningful relationships with key decision-makers, leveraging this relationship to drive successful deal closures

- Passionate about creating strong relationships with our clients through your expert product knowledge and ability to communicate
- Highly organised and able to prioritise different tasks, this is a fast-paced role!
- The capacity to develop and implement strategic plans to explore new markets and target specific industries
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial for effectively conveying the value proposition of Gumtree
